Booking Terms & Conditions
List Title
1. Booking Confirmation
A booking is confirmed once Nebula Entertainment has received your confirmation and any requested booking details have been agreed. Once confirmed, your event date and time are reserved exclusively for you.
2. Payment
Full payment for the agreed services is required before the commencement of the event unless otherwise agreed in writing.
If payment has not been received before the event start time, Nebula Entertainment reserves the right to delay or decline the performance until payment has been been made in full.
Any additional services requested after the original booking may be subject to additional charges.
3. Cancellation by the Client
If you need to cancel your booking, please notify Nebula Entertainment as soon as possible.
Where a deposit has been paid, this may be non-refundable if the event date has been reserved exclusively for your booking or costs have already been incurred.
Where full payment has been made, any refund will be considered based on the notice provided and any costs already incurred, unless otherwise required by law.
4. Cancellation by Nebula Entertainment
Whilst every effort will always be made to fulfil every booking, in the unlikely event that Nebula Entertainment is unable to attend due to unforeseen circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to illness, accident, vehicle breakdown, severe weather, family emergency or other force majeure events, we will make every reasonable effort to provide a suitable replacement DJ or entertainer of comparable quality.
If a suitable replacement cannot be arranged, all monies paid to Nebula Entertainment for the affected booking will be refunded in full.
This refund represents the full extent of Nebula Entertainment's liability, and no liability shall be accepted for any indirect or consequential losses or for any amount exceeding the total fee paid for the services booked.
5. Venue Requirements
The client is responsible for ensuring that:
-
Safe and suitable access is available for loading and unloading equipment.
-
Adequate parking is available close to the venue. Any parking charges incurred may be payable by the client unless agreed otherwise.
-
A safe, level and dry performance area is provided.
-
A reliable electrical supply is available within a reasonable distance of the performance area.
-
The venue complies with all applicable health and safety requirements.
Nebula Entertainment reserves the right to refuse to set up or perform if conditions are considered unsafe or likely to cause damage to equipment.
6. Outdoor Events
Nebula Entertainment is happy to perform at outdoor events provided suitable weather protection is available.
The performance area must be fully sheltered from rain, excessive sunlight, wind and adverse weather. If suitable protection is not available, Nebula Entertainment reserves the right to suspend or cancel the performance in the interests of safety, without liability.
7. Equipment & Safety
All equipment used by Nebula Entertainment is professionally maintained and, where required, electrically tested.
Clients and guests are respectfully asked not to touch or interfere with any equipment.
Should any equipment be damaged due to negligence, misuse or deliberate actions by the client or their guests, the client may be held responsible for the reasonable costs of repair or replacement.
8. Music Requests
We are always happy to accommodate music requests wherever possible.
Whilst every effort will be made to play requested songs, no guarantee can be given that every request will be available, suitable or appropriate for the event.
Nebula Entertainment reserves the right to decline requests containing offensive, discriminatory or inappropriate content or where they may adversely affect the atmosphere of the event.
9. Event Delays & Overtime
If your event starts later than scheduled due to circumstances outside the control of Nebula Entertainment, every reasonable effort will be made to provide the agreed entertainment within the remaining booked time.
Where delays are caused by the client, venue or other suppliers, the original finish time will normally remain unchanged unless additional time is agreed.
If you would like the entertainment to continue beyond the agreed finish time, this may be possible subject to venue restrictions, availability and an additional hourly charge agreed at the time.
10. Venue Licences & Permissions
The client and/or venue are responsible for ensuring that any licences, permissions or approvals required for the event are in place.
Nebula Entertainment cannot accept responsibility for any event being interrupted or cancelled due to licensing or venue compliance issues.
